Nature Based Therapies Australia provides clinical supervision across disciplines and is committed to supporting growth that inspires authentic professional identity and quality practice.
Supervision or consultation is undertaken through the duration of our career as a mental health practitioner in order to deepen and extend skills and knowledge.

Sue provides supervision to allied health practitioners working across both traditional room-based and outdoor therapeutic settings. She has a strong interest in supporting clinicians to work within a “Best Practice” framework—one that thoughtfully integrates nature-based and animal-assisted approaches to enhance treatment outcomes and therapeutic efficacy.

Mauro offers supervision to allied health professionals at all stages of their careers. He is especially passionate about supporting those looking to take their clinical practice outdoors, as well as experienced nature-based therapists seeking to refine and deepen their skills in ecotherapy.
Group supervision is a facilitator led process designed specifically with the goals of the group in mind; it involves sharing skills, experience and knowledge, with the aim of improving therapeutic capacity for each group member.
It can result in faster, more effective problem solving by drawing on the expertise of the group allowing for learning from diverse backgrounds and experiences of participating practitioners. Coming together as a group increases the sense of community and provides a safe environment to discuss professional limitations and challenges.
And it is more cost effective!
